At Merritt, doing what’s right extends beyond doing business. With a 40-year history of working in the Baltimore-Washington corridor, we are committed to the communities in which we build.

Charitable Giving Program Mission Statement

Merritt Properties’ charitable giving focuses on providing clothing, shelter, food and educational services to the disabled and disadvantaged, focusing on the needs of women and children. We seek out services and programs that make a direct impact on these groups, rather than capital campaigns and operational grants.

Merritt has made more than $2.5 million in donations, and is actively seeking charitable partners who fall within our mission statement.

To apply for a grant, organizations must be a 501(c)3 and have demonstrated a proven measurement of successfully helping the Baltimore metropolitan and Northern Virginia communities.
