Robert Truchon
Robert heads the Information Services team and has worked in the IT industry for more than 12 of his 20+ years at Merritt. After his discharge from the United States Marine Corps in 1985, Robert joined Merritt first as a construction laborer, then field superintendent. After five years in the field, he moved to the Merritt Customer Service team, dispatching service calls. In 1995, Robert pioneered Merritt’s internal Information Services department where he has implemented and maintains internal IT security, email, database, application and file servers, property management applications, business intelligence and collaboration applications, digital signage, IP surveillance cameras, IP video conferencing and an IP telephony system. In addition, Robert oversees day-to-day operation of the team which now includes two staff employees and a network that spans two offices and several of Merritt’s commercial properties.
