Steve, who co-manages Merritt’s Baltimore leasing team, has been with Merritt for more than 20 years. His responsibilities include leasing, tenant retention and new development opportunities in the Baltimore/South region, which encompasses more than 8 million square feet of existing property in Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Howard and Prince Georges counties. Steve has also played a key role in Merritt’s entrance into the Northern Virginia market since joining the company in 1989. Under his guidance, a new office was established in Loudoun County, Virginia in 1999 to develop and serve our customers in the Ashbrook, Loudoun Tech Center, Beaumeade and University Center developments. A member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and former Chairman of the National Forum for Mixed-Use Development, Steve graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Finance and has completed several Harvard executive education programs including their Advanced Management Development program (AMDP).
